It was gorgeous outside this morning with everything washed clean by yesterday's hard rains. There were signs of spring everywhere and lots of birds singing.
Everything was covered with droplets of rain.

The Bradford pear tree buds are very plump.
A little old fashioned daffodil was opening.
The local mockingbird was guarding all the berry bushes.

The red maple tree in the driveway is heavy with little winged seed pods. It's as pretty in the spring as in the fall.
Even the Lady Banksia rose has one blossom open.
