I missed a few days here, so am showing three photos from Bear Island WMA--also part of the ACE Basin.
First is loggerhead shrike who was very cooperative and sat still while I got my camera back out and took this though the windshield.
The middle picture is a very tough snowy egret who was threatening any other snowies that came near. He stomped around like this and flew at any interlopers. That's an immature white ibis in the background.
The third picture is just a gorgeous mushroom I came across.
