PIne Siskin and Deer

Here are some highlights from the yard yesterday.
The goldfinches seem to be almost gone, but there are pine siskins still. There were three today--that's three times as many as I've had before!
Down by the creek the deer were out later in the morning so the light was better for photos.

She seemed to be very itchy, but she doesn't look like the one with mange that we've been keeping an eye on.

They are really very pretty when you see them like this!

Another one, which looked to be the same age, joined her.

  2. Love the little siskin! Looks nice on the yellow bag. Love the deer, too! We have deer around...but they aren't comfortable coming near our property very often and I've never seen one well enough to get a picture. You have so many lovely ones to watch! Great photos!
