A second post today since I missed a few. Be sure to see the other one too below.
Much excitement at the feeder! A northern parula out in plain sight! We hear them all the time, but rarely see one. They are tiny and hide among the leaves of trees very well.
Then she came down to investigate the bird bath.
She did eventually get in but was very nervous about it and just did one quick flap/splash and dashed back into the fern. 
It was a real thrill to get such good looks at such a seldom scene beautiful, although tiny, bird. A first for the bird bath for sure!
