Two hairy close ups today. We visited a private plantation to continue our bird count for the owner and afterward the manager's ten year old son wanted us to see all the domestic animals they had too. So here are a camel's eyelashes and a donkey's ear. Both hairy and interesting to me.

  1. Wow! Interesting close-ups! If I had to guess what they were, I would have failed.

  3. Thanks Mary and Sandpiper! I'm sure with a little study you would have gotten them

  4. It's more fun to peek. LOL

Hey, I love that you got pictures of the Purple Finch finally! Yayyyyyyy! But I'm envious because they don't come visit me at this house. I used to have them all that time at my other house.

I had trouble seeing the anole because he was so well camouflaged in his brown pajamas!

  5. Thanks for your comments about my photos, I liked your bird photos. Hopefully we'll have an early spring but some years it does seem like July before the warm weather arrives.

  6. A camel's eyelashes and a donkey's ear! What wonderful ideas. And wonderful pictures.
You mentioned taking your camera out of your purse. Does that mean Bruce is female? I went to school with a girl named Bruce, so maybe so. Didn't go to Upper Darby High in PA, did you?
