Miscellaneous

Just a note to say that, no, I haven't abandoned this blog. I have just been incredibly busy with end of the month bookkeeping for me and for the gallery, and taxes--ugh, and church, and for the last assignment for a course I'm taking.
So this is the only picture I took over the weekend. He's starting to turn yellow!
These next two are a couple that were for the class. The top one is recently taken of a river on a plantation near here and the second one is from last summer at North Topsail Island, NC. The theme was vastness and loneliness.

  1. Beautiful pictures, Bruce. I noticed our finches are beginning to get a little color now, the sparrows are a little more vibrant, and the cardinals are looking rather snappy lately, too. Methinks love is in the air. ;-)

I would say you succeeded masterfully in your "vast and lonely" assignment. One of my favorite things is to take pictures that convey loneliness. Well done.

  2. Thanks, SP. A friend told me that when she enlarged the beach picture it was terribly pixely. Do you see that too--it's fine for me.

  3. No, I don't see that at all. It looks very smooth to me.
